简介: 《地狱厨房》原版是英国选秀节目，后来被美国FOX电视台购买并重新制作，美国版本的《地狱厨房》于2005年正式开播。《地狱厨房》的主角是英国名厨戈登.拉姆齐，他是世界上七次蝉联米其林三星头衔的厨师，也是全球收入最高的厨师写过几本畅销的美食小说，经常在摄影机前展现他对于精品菜肴的苛刻程度，而且性格火爆，增加了不少节目看点。《地狱厨房》的走红，完全揭开了观众对大厨师的探究，而这个节目的本身也让观众亲眼看到了，参赛选手的蜕变。具体说来就是：它先说明厨师是怎么炼出来的，然后在说明美食是怎么变出来的。
