简介: 在南极洲厚厚的冰层下，隐藏着恐龙和史前生物的世界痕迹。现在冰封的南极大陆曾经覆盖着茂密的森林，巨大的泰坦巨龙漫步在山谷间，原始哺乳动物在林下奔跑。这里还是当时最大的食肉动物冰原冠龙南极洲霸王龙的栖息地。这个由两集组成的系列跟随古生物学家进行一次探险之旅，揭示这些曾经在这里繁衍生息的古代动物和植物的化石证据。他们探索解开这些生物如何在一个一年中有四个月黑夜的极地地带生存的谜团。
