简介: 1950年，共和国空军以横空出世的姿态，在朝鲜战场上迎战世界头号强国美国空军，创下非凡战绩，从此一战成名。中国共产党在艰苦的战争年代怎么秘密培养起一支空军队伍，他们来自哪里，老师又是谁？本片讲述了从上世纪三十年代，实力弱小的中共开始飞行梦，到1946年在东北密山创建老航校，在老航校短短3年零9个月里，培养出一百多名飞行人员和四百多名各类航空技术人员的故事。以真实纪录揭开大量不为人知的事实：共产党空军是靠捡“破烂”，飞“破烂”起家，他们的老师，是曾经的敌人，日军飞行员和技师，在老航校的队伍里，曾经有一批为了理想从国民党起义过来的优秀飞行员，他们共同创建了这个创造奇迹的航校，并在这里，留下了他们的青春年华和最真挚的感情。
