简介: 凹凸山区蓝桥埠镇村民姜大牙，因逃避日军追杀到麒麟山打算投奔国民党军队，但却阴错阳差闯进了新四军的根据地。在他打算脚底抹油的犹豫时候，一个青年女新四军的及时出现，改变了他投奔国民党军的念头。就这一步改变，姜大牙从此走向了光辉之路。通过战争和政治的磨砺，并在优秀的政治工作者张普景等人的帮助下，逐步显示了优秀的品质和卓越的智慧，由一个不自觉的只有匹夫之勇的莽汉，成长为一名足智多谋的指挥员，最终修炼成为一名具有高度政治觉悟和斗争艺术的共产党高级将领。
