简介: 梁红英本是古村里安分守己的年轻女人，却因为自家成分不好，为了给自己的哥哥相一门亲事而走上了换亲的道路。她狠心斩断自己与初恋情人刘金根的情愫，历尽周折嫁到邻村的夫家，发现自己的丈夫大头是一个不懂得夫妻之事的傻子。梁红英接受了现实，兢兢业业服侍丈夫、婆婆，本以为人生从此太平度过，却没想到造物弄人，大头抱回了被金根妈弃养的女婴二丽。梁红英不知二丽是刘金根的孩子，只当是自己捡来女儿细心喂养，直到大头为了给她抓鱼催奶溺水身亡，大头妈从此受了刺激，精神时好时坏，刘金根的妻子茶花也发现被金根妈偷偷抛弃的二丽就在梁红英家里，来抢回了二丽。梁红英带着疯癫的婆婆无依无靠，不得不回到了古村，重新开始另外一种生活。
