简介: 耿星光是村里的一个羊倌，是凡事喜欢一条道跑到黑的人。因为不满村长刘眼镜欺负自己的行为，萌生了去大城市打工的念头。刚来到大城市四处碰壁，从建筑工地、饭店再到洗浴中心，做过许多不擅长的工作，闹出了不少笑话。但他善良、真诚、宽容，从不放弃努力，最终在洗浴中心找到了适合自己的工作。他将拾到的一块十几万的金表还给主人贺子鹏，而且拒绝了贺子鹏的谢礼；忍受同宿舍高威的欺凌以德报怨，为高威病重的女儿捐款；工友孙铁军盗窃顾客金钱并诬陷到他身上时，他没有憎恨孙铁军，还拿出自己的一部分工资资助孙铁军上大学的妹妹。他的行为影响和改变了他周围的许多人，最后还帮助村里解决了发展难题。
