简介: 1949年，桂林白崇禧公馆，各路匪首，垂死挣扎，叫嚷要实行蒋介石的应变计划，并将大瑶山和十万大山等地作为反共游击根据地，白崇禧所器重的匪一二六军军长林秀山被赠与了一包上等的烟土。与此同时，我南下部队进入广西，军区领导人张云逸、莫文骅、李天佑感慨风云变幻，20年打了个来回。林匪在撤进山里前，对万山县进行了空前洗劫，炸毁了县城，并强迫乡民进山当匪。杂货店主人冯寒梅被匪兵调戏，遇李宏成营长带兵前来搭救。一波未平一波又起，粮仓被烧，李营长领人冲进火海奋力救粮。冯寒梅将店里的新桶全部献出装水，引得众人称赞。灭火后，二班战士在瀑布下洗澡，突遭土匪袭击，班长壮烈牺牲，神秘的电波不时出现，刚解放的万山县城又处于动荡的变幻中。
