简介: 出生在农村的于天龙是毕业于中医学院的一名医生，在农村开了中医诊所。曾经与他初恋的女友高美凤，由于家人的阻挠最终嫁给本村农民艾武装，也开了一家诊所。高美凤因丈夫艾武装酗酒好赌而离婚，独自闯入江城换个活法。于天龙由于苦恋美凤多年，四十岁的他尚未婚娶，也只身闯入江城寻找高美凤，在早先进城的乡亲高羽的帮助下找到高美凤，又在曾是局长的付德功帮助下在一小区内办起了诊所，在市场经济大潮中，他们二人同甘共苦、尽心尽力为社区居民服务，同时不忘乡情，吃苦耐劳、乐于助人的美德，以及他们的热情服务受到了小区居民一片赞扬。
