简介: 二十世纪三十年代的东海上，活跃着一位杀富济贫的海上女侠梁桂凤，她疾恶如仇，除暴安良，深受人民的拥戴。梁桂凤派人刺杀上海滩黑社会女老大顾四爷，但被老谋深算的顾四爷识破，发誓要踏平梁桂凤的小岛。梁桂凤针锋相对，绑来了顾四爷的干女儿索菲及顾的男宠阿林，殊不知两个人是背着顾四爷私奔出走的，顾四爷正派人到处缉拿他们。女儿玉莲担心母亲会招惹麻烦，主张放走索菲与阿林，而梁桂凤的义子海龙则坚决反对，梁桂凤和女儿玉莲展开了一场明争暗斗。
