简介: 故事发生在美丽的海滨城市海河市，叙述了正在主持研制经济价值极高的病毒疫苗的留美博士武阳在一次送朋友去机场回家的途中，开车撞到一个神秘人物，并因此而被卷入一场莫名其妙的连环强奸杀人案件里，从而引起一些列悬疑故事。青年女歌手章寒在去唱片公司应聘的路上被神秘凶手强暴并割破喉咙，而武阳由于车撞凶手而沾上章寒的血迹，成为警方重点怀疑对象，美好人生就此改变。章寒在法庭当众指认武阳，但武阳在即将被法庭宣判有罪时，他的朋友从海外归来帮武阳作了不在场证明，武阳被判“疑罪从无”，当庭释放。深受打击的章寒万念俱灰，欲投海自尽，被刘雪（武阳的未婚妻）表姐夫赵成松所救，并送到武阳的弟弟武童那里暂住。当章寒得知武童与武阳的关系时，一个可怕的报复念头在她的脑海里诞生了。
