简介: 王明（张鹏饰）和妻子古秋霞（吴静娴饰）育有五个子女，他们分别是秀秀（石安妮饰）、冬冬（方向中饰）、弯弯（胡家玮饰）、佩佩（苏慧伦饰）和彬彬（温兆宇饰）。一次意外中，王明在车祸中不幸丧生，一下子，抚养五个孩子的重担全部落在了古秋霞一人的肩上。屋漏偏逢连夜雨，在这个节骨眼上，古秋霞得知自己患上了癌症，所剩时日无多。无奈之下，古秋霞决定求助于媒体，在得知了这一家人的情况后，有许多热心的人们向她伸出了援手。经过慎重的考虑和考察，古秋霞终于安顿好了自己的孩子们，她安心的闭上了眼睛。而对于五个兄弟姐妹们来说，除了要面对丧母之痛外，即将到来的分离也令他们感到心痛。
