简介: 徐有礼是个性格暴躁的倔老头，与老伴高书雅磕绊不断。近来，让老俩口心烦的是三个孩子事业、爱情或婚姻出现了问题。二儿子文健的前女友锦茹从国外回来了，想与文健重修旧好，但文健已经有了新的女友小玲，又不愿伤害锦茹，左右为难。锦茹的哥哥陈勇正在追求文健的小妹雪莹，却遭到徐家两位老人的激烈反对。大儿子文俊不但与陈勇联手做生意，而且与做歌星梦的老婆闹得不可开交。雪莹结婚了，文俊与红杏出墙的老婆离了婚，文健的公司遭遇挫折，锦茹出手相救，文健事业出现转机，开始快速发展，而感情的抉择更加艰难。最终，文健与小玲登记结婚，锦茹登上飞机，离开了这座使她伤心的城市。
