简介: 女司机桑虹因开出租而被丈夫看不起所抛弃，为了保护自己，她不得不用泼辣甚至粗野的外壳裹着一颗渴望男人爱抚的心，最终与刘世平相爱并结合。郑连才开出租是老资格了，经验丰富、精明老道是大家公认的。自以为精明的郑连才离开了出租汽车公司，却不料被犯罪分子利用差一点送了命。马小弟家庭不幸，沉重的经济压力使其不时因人穷志短做出一些错事，既令人痛恨又让人同情。北京和上海的两位赵总都是成功的企业家，赵文广诙谐、风趣甚至有些年轻人的顽皮，赵南国比较起来更具有经营头脑。其中还穿插了以张明理为代表的反面形象，提示出这个行业在管理方面的问题所在。剧中主人公刘世平的弟弟刘世和虽然不是出租车行业的从业人员，但由他引发的一系列矛盾冲突，充分提示了社会上一部分人是如何看待出租车司机的，同时也反映出代表着大多数出租车司机的典型人物美好道德情操和高尚行为。
