简介: 进入21世纪，科技发展日新月异，进而带动军事形成全新的格局。传统的冷兵器自然成为历史，而为人们所熟悉的近现代作战模式和思维也渐渐到了变革的关口。为了在未来战争中赢得先机，人民解放军高层下令组建多兵种混编而成的新型数字化合成作战师，简称DA师，以实现军队的合成化、信息化和数字化。围绕这一新兵团师长的职位，作为热门人选的208师参谋长赵梓明和203师副师长吴义文，分别点将特种大队长龙凯峰和信息大队长林晓燕展开激烈角逐。结果恃才傲物、足智多谋的龙凯峰脱颖而出，并最终击败了老连长赵梓明，成为DA师的代师长。在时代的交叉口，传统与新思维的冲突、人际关系与政治军事的碰撞，亲情、友情、爱情和战友情的裹挟，DA师在艰难困阻中成长……
