简介: 十九世纪的中国，刘昴星通过了被认为是中国最高点的厨师资格“特级厨师考试”，成为史上最年轻的“特级厨师”。在师傅周瑜的提议下，刘昴星为了开阔厨师的视野，和同伴四郎还有周梅丽一起游览了中国西南方。其后回到广州阳泉酒家的阿昴，下决心要与企图用料理支配人的黑暗料理界作斗争。在这种情况下，他得知了据说是守护着中国料理界的八件“传说中的厨具”的秘密。过去，刘昴星的母亲陈邦铃祈求千万人的幸福，与黑暗料理界展开过激烈的战斗。于是刘昴星继承母亲的遗志，为了从黑暗料理界手中守护散落在中国大陆各地的传说中的厨具，阿昴与四名同伴一起踏上旅程。
