简介: 马大姐原单位的一位老姐妹在退休前光荣加入了中国共产党。她特意来把这个喜讯告诉马大姐，因为想当年二人是同期参加工作的，而且又一起写过第一份入党申请书。马大姐既为老姐妹高兴又为自己伤感，觉得提前退休使自己的政治生命也早早结束了，现在她这样一个闲人哪有资格再提入党的事呢?为此她几天闷闷不乐，突然接到去街道办事处开会的通知。原来马大姐所在的街道开发了一个便民小旅馆，因一时找不到合适的负责人选，便想起了马大姐。因为她退休前曾在国务院招待所工作多年，所以被聘为临时代理。马大姐对自己在有生之年还能为社会做贡献感到非常振奋，觉得可以在新的工作岗位上接受组织上的考验，入党还是有希望的。便在上班的头天晚上写了入党申请书。
