简介: 剧中人赖瑞在生活中总会因为各种琐事让自己身陷麻烦、囧态百出。他想跟前妻复合，却屡遭拒绝，连自己可能得癌症都无法打动她。在摩卡乔咖啡店，他因为对食物不满意，与店主发生争执，被赶了出来。为了报复店主，他决定租下隔壁的商铺，开一家咖啡店，并用低价挤垮它。赖瑞的助理爱丽丝因为一些误会控告了他，两人在律师协调下，进行和解，但赖瑞搞砸了。爱丽丝非常不满，要求赖瑞再支付一笔赔偿金，却因为被赖瑞咖啡店的司康点心噎住，脑部缺氧，失去了对赖瑞的记忆，官司危机也解除了。赖瑞在墨西哥意外发现了合适的咖啡豆，却因为飞机超重，被请下了飞机。咖啡店开业后客流不断，摩卡乔开始和他打价格战。赖瑞在路上给消防车让路，事后却发现消防员是去喝咖啡。因此第二次他拒绝给消防车让路，没想到着火的是自己的咖啡店。
