简介: 抗战时期，大陈岛乡绅吴匡时拉起武装对抗日寇，渔民叶阿大为保护吴家二少爷皇甫再青，被日寇杀害。叶阿大儿子忠义与皇甫再青结拜为兄弟，兄弟俩同时爱上了戏班班主的女儿孙景春。忠义遭迫害逃往大陆，成为解放军军官；皇甫再青迁往台湾成为高级特工，但他仍念念不忘孙景春。已是孙景春丈夫的海防部队军人忠义为履行职责和保卫爱情，与皇甫再青展开新的角逐。改革开放后，分离了三十年的老人重逢并收获了各自的爱情。
