简介: 清朝年间，青皮知府张之岳居官清廉且医术高明，立志要为百姓做一番事业。京城太医得罪内宫，遭满门抄斩，其女卫泱女扮男装千里投奔张之岳。红花坪百姓染上了罕见的癞疠病，指日可死，再加之恶霸董大、董二兄弟的残酷盘剥，百姓苦不堪言。张之岳冒着生命危险前来救治，并设计除掉了董氏兄弟，因而得罪了总督刘彰，遂拂袖挂冠而去。张之岳辞官回乡，一路险象环生。在卫泱等人的帮助下，张之岳四方行走，济世救民。野心勃勃的总督刘彰勾结江湖大仙周师爷，欲笼络其心为己所用，但张之岳不为所动，在一番斗智斗勇的善恶较量之后，正义最终战胜邪恶，一部造福后人的医学秘笈也得以传世。
