简介: 故事发生在某滨海都市，公司董事长罗培石爱上了少女许丽雯，许丽雯以肚子里的孩子要挟，打算告诉罗培石的妻子林寒冰，逼罗培石离婚。当这段秘密的畸恋行将泄露的时候，许丽雯却在与罗培石争执中意外坠海身亡。这段婚外情引发了一连串令人难以置信的事件，使罗培石身陷囹圄。在以刑警队长丁兆龙为首的警方对案件进行侦破调查的同时，许丽雯的继母曾文君发现女儿爱上的竟是二十年前抛弃自己的恋人；曾文君难以经受这突如其来的打击，精神恍惚之中突遭车祸，被送进中心医院抢救；女刑警陆雅琴在监护中因救一位欲跳楼的病人，返回后却发现曾文君竟神秘死亡。曾文君之死，警方推测出两案必有联系，查证出罗培石具备犯罪嫌疑。
