简介: 1945年夏天，猖狂一时的日本侵略军已成了秋后的蚂蚱，杨晓冬是地下党派到古城的新领导人，但进入古城后才知道古城地下党因汉奸特务和叛徒的出卖而遭受重创，为清查叛徒，杨晓冬刻意在古城地下党员、自己的初恋情人银环面前隐瞒身份，直到亲赴高府，查出是进步人士高鹤年在策反时的一时不慎，方才表露了身份。而杨晓东为了促成治安军起义，只身前往伪团长关敬陶家中，加以劝说。在与日军多田周旋中，武工队梁队长和韩燕来只身抢回关键的数据资料，击毙吴赞东，因叛徒的出卖，金环与杨母不幸牺牲。在这场斗智斗勇的战斗中，关团长坚定了起义的决心。日本投降的消息传来，关团长带领治安军控制了省城，最终在杨晓冬的领导下，击毙了多田。古城新生的一天迎来了新中国太阳升起。
