简介: 1941年12月太平洋战争爆发，北平售品百货所经理赵运达知晓其好友美国军医弗利所乘军列被日军扣留，他断定国宝“北京人头盖骨”已落入日本人手中，他在追踪国宝线索中结交位于北京良乡地区的了胡大山等人。此时土匪胡大山在不遗余力追杀携部分宝物叛逃到日本鬼子处的手下弟兄，而教书先生郑岩在追寻叛徒，夺回地下党遗失的情报。赵运达将胡大山和郑岩、张仁三人的未竟之事与自己追踪国宝的大事，利用智慧与计谋将其“捆绑”在一起，开始了一场执着的追踪，演绎了一曲壮烈悲歌。
