简介: 南海水下考古队“06”号勘测船开赴南海海域，对一艘满载着瓷器的宋代沉船进行最后的勘察定位。当晚，“06”号勘测船在目标海域停泊时，被一艘不明国籍的货轮撞毁，12名队员中，只有王辞和彭湖几代人在海上漂泊多日后获救，其余船员均不幸遇难。王辞和彭湖认为事故背后有着不可告人的阴谋，便联手遇难者杨雄的记者女友萧娅，在一本小说的指引下展开调查。随着调查的深入，与事件有关的人一个个进入他们的视线，然而总有人在暗中监视他们的行踪，每一个为他们提供线索的人都离奇死亡，更有人布下天罗地网，想要置他们于死地。危机四伏的追凶之路上隐藏着巨大的阴谋，却也更加坚定了三人查清事实真相的决心。
