简介: 该剧讲述的是乾隆年间钱沣作为钦差调查甘肃发生的官员集体贪污事件，从甘肃到杭州，突破层层阻碍，终于使贪赃者受到了应有的惩治的故事。乾隆46年，时任崇文门税官的钱沣与运送皇纲的浙江巡抚发生争执，此事引起乾隆皇帝对甘肃捐监案的诸多疑虑。决定派钱沣前往甘肃密查。而浙江巡抚亦暗派义女雪奴、胭脂尾随钱沣前往甘肃。钱沣一路颇多风险，刚到兰州差点被人发现行踪，他和和珅、铁图商议，决定不动声色私访。雪奴假扮灾民博得钱沣同情。为灾民钱沣闯进总督府，但无法证明自己……
