简介: 讲述的是四十年代上海滩头牌舞女花红艳和白黛林的悲惨命运。为替兄还债，花红艳被迫做了闻名江湖的丝绸大王龙耀祖的姨太太。而龙耀祖的亲弟弟龙耀宗恰恰是花红艳的初恋情人。不料龙耀祖暴毙婚宴，身为龙家新掌门人的龙耀宗对花红艳旧情难忘，却又顾虑重重，从而导致了新的感情危机。白黛林是恶霸白厉冰的养女，实际上和其他姐妹都是他的摇钱树。守备司令江砥平垂涎白黛林的美貌，以汉奸罪名逮捕了白厉冰，以逼迫白黛林及其姐妹就范。四处躲避的白黛林几次都得到年轻军官鲍望春的援救。鲍望春无意间获得了白家众姐妹的卖身契，为挽救白黛林等众舞女，鲍望春冒死和江砥平展开争斗。花红艳为羞辱龙家，重新下海充当舞女，与出身豪门的记者陆蒙山产生了感情纠葛。灯红酒绿、纸醉金迷的背后，正是正义与邪恶、光明与黑暗的殊死搏杀。
