简介: 十年前北京大杂院里，冯骁父子和街坊正兴高采烈的等候冯骁女友方晓遇来访。冯骁的大学同学彭东东突然出现并通知：方晓遇不来了，因为她爱上了自己。方晓遇和副部长的儿子彭东东的婚礼隆重而风光，大杂院的小姑娘陈思琳羡慕异常。冯父劝儿子认命。冯骁却出现在婚礼上，当众宣布10年后再见。结果冯父一气之下病危身亡。十年后冯骁由深圳归来成了大老板，而方晓遇和彭东东却面临下岗分流困扰，方晓遇阴差阳错来到冯骁公司就业。引起丈夫的不满和猜疑，同事红碟的误解与忌恨、陈思琳的嫉妒和挑衅，结果其妻单大姐登门大打出手。一系列矛盾接踵而来，方晓遇碰得头破血流，内外交困。然而方晓遇没有知难而退，她主动迎接时代的挑战，以宽容、善良、爱心和坚忍克服重重难关，最终赢得人们的理解和爱戴。
