简介: 2030年，科技高速发展，我们迎来了“快速”社会，竞争愈发激烈，沟通却愈发贫瘠。莫莉是个有点特别的11岁女孩，她着迷于植物，拥有神奇的想象力，但内向，胆小的她很难交到朋友。在植物学家爸爸的引导下，莫莉将不同的人想象成有性格的植物，以此来打破沟通的鸿沟。然而，爸爸的意外失踪打破了家庭原本的祥和。一年后，妈妈几乎要放弃搜救。坚信爸爸活着的莫莉，决定同她的废柴的机器人阿鲁一起探寻找到爸爸的办法，在那里，她将要面对人生中必须战胜的挑战……
