简介: 2050年。由于在父亲创立的制造公司·Rebuild社对“自律机械DZ”的开发做出了贡献，因而年纪轻轻就赢得了名声的技术人员德里达·伊万（主人公）。有一次与同僚内桑注意到了“DZ”的重大缺陷，但上司却完全不听从忠告，对此感到恼火的他在知道危险的情况下仍然拖延应对，并前去参加内桑的爱女·玛吉的生日派对。但，在度过了一时平稳之后的第二天，德里达和内桑遭到神秘部队的袭击。在出逃的最后，落入冷冻睡眠装置的德里达再次睁开眼时，时间已经过了10年，放眼望去的世界早已荒废，陷入了战争状态！就在遭到失控的“DZ”群的袭击，即将放弃一切的时候，德里达回想起了内桑临终的话语。“玛吉就拜托你了”。为了寻找玛吉，重逢，超越了“时间”——这是，思念踏上旅途的故事。
